Obituary

Jesse Matt Lyon, 20; of Soda Springs passed away tragically Sunday, June 28, 2009.

Jesse was born on December 26, 1988 the son of Matt and Charlene Marie Picco Lyon in Soda Springs, Idaho.

He was raised and educated in both Grace and Soda Springs. He graduated from Soda Springs High School where he was in the Honor Society and A.P. Program. He was on the Football and Basketball teams, ran track.

He joined the Navy Nuclear Program out of high school and was in Boot Camp in Chicago, Ill. for 8 weeks, Charleston S.C. Power A School for 6 months and Saratoga Springs N.Y. 8 months for Reactor Training.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Jesse liked to hunting, fishing, camping and traveling. He also liked to break dance and work on his car. His favorite pastime was spending time with his family and friends.

He will be remembered as a trustworthy, dedicated friend who influenced many of the lives he touched. "Until' we are reunited".

Jesse is survived by his mother and father, Matt and Charlene Lyon of Soda Springs, ID; a brother, K.C. Eugene Picco of Price, UT; and sister Sheena Dawn Leah Lyon of Pocatello, ID.. Also surviving are grandparents Eugene and Buelah Picco of Helper, UT; and Leah R. Lyon Spokane Valley, WA; and two nephews Brenan Matt Lyon of Pocatello, ID; and Rome Picco and niece Milan Picco both of Price, UT.
He was preceded in death by a grandfather Kay S. Lyon and grandmother Sharon Lea Shankle.

Services were held on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at Noon at the Soda Springs Hooper LDS Chapel. Burial was at the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs with Military Graveside Services.
