James "Jim" Robert Egbert, 75, of Henry, Idaho was called home by his heavenly father on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at the Caribou Memorial Hospital in Soda Springs.

Jim was born on June 11, 1942 in Salt Lake City, Utah the son of Thomas James and Elva D. Feller Egbert.

He was raised in Salt Lake City, UT.

He served in the U.S. Army.

Jim was a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and had served a fulltime mission in Brazil.

He married Dulce Franco and they were later divorced.

He married Chris Grimes and they were later divorced.

Jim married Kathryn Patterson on October 17, 1990 in Wayan, ID.

He enjoyed building 5th Wheel trailers and pouring and framing concrete and loved talking construction.

Jim is survived by his wife Kathryn Egbert of Henry, ID, and three sons and one daughter, James T. & Amelia Egbert, Troy F. Egbert, Lee & Dawn Egbert, Cindy Sasso. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren and a brother, Steve Egbert and a sister Beverly D. Christensen. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Valerie Egbert.

Memorial Services will be held June 11, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Grays Lake Ward Chapel with graveside service to follow at 2:30 p.m. at the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs.
