JLee Smith, 58, passed away suddenly on Saturday December 6th, 2025. JLee was born October 8th 1967 in Pocatello, ID. The son of Dennis and Rita Smith. Graduated from Snake River High School in 1986. Shortly after that he joined the Navy.

JLee worked for Lander County in Battle Mountain, NV for many years. For the last 10 years he worked for the maintenance department at the Blackfoot, ID school district. JLee loved playing competitive darts and was pretty damn good at it. He loved the outdoors, hunting, and fishing. He loved to spend time with family and friends and he was the biggest prankster. Even though he came off as a tough guy, he had the biggest heart.

JLee is survived by his parents Dennis and Rita Smith of Pingree, ID. his daughter Brittany Andersen Battle Mountain, NV, one granddaughter Audrey Andersen, one grandson Ronen Andersen, A brother Curtis Smith (Jacquie Janibagian) of Idaho Fall, ID, sister Leesa Marine (Scott) of Battle Mountain, NV, sister KLee Neihart (Shane) of Shelly, ID, sister Karrie Smith (Erick Pena) of Pingree, ID. Along with Multiple nieces, nephews, and several great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, one niece, and one great niece. Celebration of life will be held at a later time.
