Jo-Ellen M. Gentry, 62; of Soda Springs passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2020.

Jo was born on January 19, 1958 in Centralia, Washington. She was adopted as an infant by Cleve and Jo-Ann Morgan.

She lived in Lava Hot Springs for 14 years until they moved to Soda Springs where she graduated High School in 1976. She attended I.S.U. for two years and then came back to Soda Springs where she worked many jobs.

She married Thayne Gentry on February 28, 1991 in Elko, Nevada. They made their home in Soda Springs until She passed.

Jo enjoyed any outdoor activity especially looking for special old rocks and hunting and fishing.

She is survived by her husband Thayne, an uncle Glen (Delores) Morgan of Lewiston, ID, a stepmother Kay Morgan of Caldwell, ID, and four stepchildren and eight step-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, a brother and nine uncles and six aunts.

Graveside services were held on Monday, April 20, 2020 at the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs.

There will be a memorial for her when we can all get together again. It will be announced at a later date.
