Obituary
Joe S. Olorenshaw, 85 of Soda Springs, Idaho passed away at home on Wednesday, April 26, 2017.
Joe was born on April 5, 1932 in Lago, Idaho the son of James T. and Lona Marie Swensen Olorenshaw.
After graduating from Grace High School, Joe served in the United States Air Force in Florida.
Joe married Norma Ann Swain on April 21, 1956 in Soda Springs, Idaho; they were later divorced.
He later married Charlene Harrison on December 16, 1960 in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
Joe loved spending time exploring the local mountains. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, boating and traveling with Charlene, his wife of 57 years. Together, they created many wonderful memories traveling in Alaska, Canada, Mexico, national Parks and yearly trips to Jackson Hole, WY. Joe was an accomplished craftsman and builder; he was known for building with the materials he had on hand. IF he did not have anything to repair, then he was redesigning and rebuilding.
Joe is survived by his wife Charlene of Soda Springs, ID, and 5 children, Tim H. Olorenshaw of Billings, MT, Charla-Jo Spradlin of Coeur d'Alene, ID, Gina Marie Peterson of Vernal, UT, Wade J. Olorenshaw of Bancroft, ID, and Stacy Ann Carpenter of Soda Springs, ID. He is also survived by one brother Ralph J. Olorenshaw, one sister Wilma Simonson and 9 grandchildren.
