John Glinski, 78; of Soda Springs, Idaho passed away on July 26, 2022 at Caribou Medical Center.

John was born in Leominster, Massachusetts on August 17, 1943, the son of Michael Glinski Sr. and Furinda Montequila.

In 1968 he married the love of his life Karen Singel.  Together they had two children, Tracy and Tina.  They were together every day for 52 years until her passing in February of 2021.

John was part of the Catholic faith and he raised his family as such.  John was a fun loving, hard working man who taught his children the meaning of integrity, loyalty, hard work, and value of family. He always put his faith and his family first.  He made friends wherever he went with his infectious smile and witty personality.

John played football in high school and together with his team they won the State Championship.  He was an avid sports fan.  He liked any team in MA.  He also enjoyed spending time with family, reading and watching science fiction.

He is survived by his daughters Tracy (Len) Wilson, Tina Guedes, 5 grandchildren, Amanda Bott, Ashley Bott, Evan Guedes, Alex Guedes and Caleb Guedes, 1 great-grandchild Matthew Jones III.  John was preceded in death by his wife Karen Glinski, father Michael Glinski SR, mother Furinda Glinski, brother Michael Glinski Jr., mother-in-law Catherine Singel, father-in-law John Jack Singel and a brother-in-law Richard Singel.

Private services will be held in his hometown in MA.
