Jolene Anderson Hatch, 88, passed away August 1, 2023. Jolene was born June 13, 1935 to Carl "J" Anderson and Fanny Marie (Swann) Anderson at Preston, Idaho in the home of her Aunt Ellen Swann.

Jolene attended Ricks College where she met her sweetheart, Roy Flinders Hatch. They were married March 30, 1956 in the Idaho Falls Temple.

Jolene's number one concern was for the welfare of her family. In conjunction with family, she spent her life in the service of God in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Jolene served in many callings from Primary to Young Women to Relief Society. Where ever she served she could be found at the organ or piano using her gift for music. She also, whole heartedly, supported her husband, Roy Hatch, in his callings. It was a highlight for her to work with Roy as ordinance workers in the Logan, Utah Temple.

Jolene also served in the community in the "Daughters of Utah Pioneers" organization as well as the Chesterfield Idaho Town Site. She wanted to preserve our love and gratitude for our ancestors.

She is preceded in death by her husband Roy F. Hatch, parents, her brother Calvin Anderson and his wife Jan, her sister Ila Marie and her husband Joseph Hoopai, and sister Carla Deane Anderson. She was also preceded in death by five half-brothers from her father's first marriage.

Jolene is survived by her sister Sharon Brown, her son Carl A. Hatch (wife Judy Hollingsworth), and daughters, Valene (husband Rick Bohne), Sherrie (husband Brett Denney) and Brenda (husband Jimi Carter), 14 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at the Chesterfield LDS Chapel at 12:00pm with a viewing from 10:30 to 11:30 before. A viewing will also be held at the same location Monday evening 7:00-8:00pm.
