Joseph Anthony McCoy passed away on March 28, 2024, in Soda Springs, Idaho. Born on January 30, 1950, in Battle Ground Washington to Mary McCoy, Joe was a longtime Washington resident prior to moving to Idaho in 2010.

‍Joe was a graduate of Battle Ground High School, class of 1968, and went on to serve his country in the US Army from 1968 to 1971. Upon his return from Vietnam, Joe served as a fire fighter for the Vancouver Fire Department.

‍Throughout his life, Joe's hobbies included hunting, fishing, painting and most of all cooking spending countless hours providing food to others.

‍Joe was predeceased by his mother. His memory will be forever held in the hearts of his surviving family: his children, Willie McCoy and Alli Flores; his three grandsons, Anthony McCoy Jonathan Flores, and Elijah Flores; his brothers Michael McCoy and Timothy McCoy

‍A private family service to celebrate Joe's life will be held at a future date.

‍In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to your local Food Bank in Joe's honor, to help feed those in need.
