Joyce Marie Marcham Harris, our Mother, Sister, Aunt, and friend left this Earthly realm on November 1st, 2020 to re- join her dear husband Glen.

Joyce was born on October 31, 1946. A Halloween child, she lived her life with just a little mischievous side, which was always evident in her smile and the twinkle of her eyes. She was the fifth of eight children born to George and Margarett Marcham.

Joyce was truly a Southeast Idaho girl, leaving for only a short time to live in Wyoming. She made her home in many of our small towns and loved this area and the multiple seasons which often come in short order. She loved the outdoors, and especially loved horses, often riding with Glen and the kids in the Caribou Basin area. While at the guard station, she'd have the kids make multiple trips to the creek to grab a pan of gravel, which she would patiently work for the insignificant flour in the bottom.

She had two boys from a previous marriage, Dusty (Tina) Senn and Rusty (Sharla) Harris. Her and Glen didn't have children together, but she loved his children as her own; Lynn, Jerry, Bill, Monica, Glenna and Carla.

Joyce loved making a home for her family and was considered the rock for her siblings. She loved to dance with the love of her life, and all by herself if necessary...even if it wasn't well advised in later years. Balance tends to leave us, and dancing on a balance board isn't always the best idea. She loved to cook and worked at several local restaurants. She retired from Caribou Memorial Hospital, and enjoyed her family, hosting holiday dinners, caring for her yard, and making sure Glen did what was needed in the manner it needed to be done. When not busy, she loved to shop online, and any little gadget often caught her eye and forced open the checkbook.

Joyce is preceded in death by her husband Glen Harris, her parents, 2 brothers - Raymond Marcham and Robert Marcham, and 1 sister - Shirlee Hazlewood. She is survived by 2 brothers - Lee Marcham and Russell(Sherry) Marcham both of Pocatello, and by 2 sisters - Barbara(William) Lester of Bancroft, and Hazel Merrell of Florence, AZ.

Joyce is once again with the love of her life, and likely returning to camp on a run-away horse with the same twinkle in her eye. You will live on through your children, siblings, nieces and nephews.

A family gathering will be held at a later date.
