Myrtle June Hanson Welch, 94, returned to the arms of her loving Heavenly Father on October 29, 2015, at Pocatello, Idaho.
June was born on June 13, 1921, at Lund, Idaho, to Albert Emery Hanson and Annetha Hegstrom Hanson. She married Clifford Densel Welch on June 10, 1941, in Logan, Utah, Latter-Day Saint Temple.
She was raised in the Central area where she helped her parents on their farm. She had many fond memories of this time in her life. She met Clifford at a dance and really "hit it off". After their marriage she farmed with him in the Central/Lund area. They were married 52 happy years. Three children were born to their union.
June loved music and played in an orchestra with her father. She played the piano and organ beautifully and used this talent in many church callings. Her church callings included Stake, Primary and ward organist, Sunday School secretary and teacher, Young Women's counselor, and longtime member of the choir. She served as assistant postmaster in Central, and worked as a clerk during elections. She enjoyed her family and loved being with them at every chance.
She is survived by one son and two daughters, son Kim (Susan) Welch, daughters Judy (Richard) Burnham, Shauna (Mike) Bowen; 14 grandchildren, Anjie, Brandon, Justin, Nicholas, Heather, Brody, Amber, Lance, Colter, Scott, Sheena, Jesse and Jake; and 31 great-grandchildren.
June was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a brother, Lawrence.
