Katherine Ann Jensen, 70, of Soda Springs passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017 after fighting a courageous 19 month battle from a massive stroke.

Katherine was born on September 30, 1946 in Bono, Arkansas the daughter of Gilbert Frank and Helen Mary Wiles Kluesner.

She married Robert C. Jensen "Bird" on April 4, 1982 in Elko, Nevada. They were later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple.

Katherine worked at the Caribou Medical Clinic for Dr. John Obray for many years. She also worked at Agrium as an Administrative Assistant.

She enjoyed gardening and collecting antiques. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, they always brought a smile to her face.

She is survived by her husband Robert "Bird" Jensen of Soda Springs, Id, two daughters, Christina Marie Jensen of Pocatello, ID, Lisa (Troy) Davids of Bancroft, ID. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and a sister Karen (Kelly M.) Roberts of Soda Springs, ID. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Walter W. Kluesner and Frank G. Kluesner.

Services will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Noon at the Hooper LDS Chapel in Soda Springs. The family will visit with friends on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Sims Funeral Home and on Tuesday morning from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Church prior to services. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs.
