Kathleen Ann Kopetzky Prudhomme, 62; of Grace passed away Sunday, December 18, 2011 at the Portneuf Medical Center in Pocatello.

She was born on December 10, 1949 in Sidney, Nebraska the daughter of Philip James and Ruth Siders Kopetzky.

She was raised and educated in Sidney, Nebraska and graduated from Bayard High School in 1968. She later moved to Grace, Idaho and then to Pocatello, Idaho. In 1986 she attended Idaho State University in the L.P.N. program and later attended the Medical Assistant program in 1998. She had worked at the Bannock Regional Medical Center and Hill Crest Haven in Pocatello.

She enjoyed reading, crafts, crocheting, writing poems, playing the piano, bingo and doing Penny Press word searches.

She is survived by one son and one daughter, Tom Prudhomme of Pocatello, ID; Marci Holt of Pocatello, ID; and five grandchildren Alyssa Holt, Rebecca Holt, Brandon Holt, Madison Prudhomme and Emmashay Prudhomme. She is also survived by her mother Ruth Kopetzky of Grace, ID; and a brother James and Shanna Kopetzky of Pocatello, ID; and three sisters Rita Dodds of Layton, UT; Deb Jones of Jackpot, NV; Shirley and David Miles of Grace, ID. She was preceded in death by her father Phil Kopetzky and a nephew Anthony Kopetzky.

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (99 West Center St.) in Soda Springs. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday morning from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home prior to going to the services at the Church. Burial will be in the Grace Cemetery.
