Kathy Nord Jenkins, 44, of McCammon, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2008 at home. She was born June 27, 1963, at Rexburg, Idaho the daughter of Reed Darsel and Gaylia Ann White Nord.
She had lived 23 years in Rigby and 21 years in McCammon. She graduated from Rigby High School and attended Eastern Idaho Vo-tech to be a legal secretary.
She married William "Bill" Max Jenkins, March 26, 1983 at Rigby, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.
Kathy had been a secretary for the School District No 25 in Pocatello.
She was a member of the Marsh Creek LDS Ward. She had served as the Young Women's President; in the primary presidency and as a Ward Missionary.
Kathy enjoyed camping, snow-machining, fishing in Alaska, music, gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband Bill Jenkins, McCammon, ID; and 3 sons; Markus Jenkins, SLC, UT; Michael Jenkins, McCammon, ID and John Jenkins, Pocatello, ID. Also surviving are her parents of Rigby, ID; 3 brothers and 2 sisters: Darrin Nord, Eric Nord of Rigby, ID; Ryan Nord, SLC, UT; Natalie and Dan Shaffer, Inkom, ID and Diana and Steve Lowder, Aurora, UT. She was preceded in death by grandparents and mother and father in-law.
Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, June 5th at Noon at the McCammon LDS Stake Center with Bishop Peri Thomas officiating. Burial was in the Lund Cemetery.
