Kelly Ruth Kuhn Stanger, 33; of Inkom passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at her home. Kelly was born October 27, 1978 in Soda Springs, Idaho the daughter of Donald K. and Kim Gentry Kuhn. She was raised and educated in Soda Springs and graduated from Soda Springs High School in 1997. After high school she moved to Needham, Massachusetts where she worked as a nanny for the Mertz family. Kelly moved back to Idaho to pursue her studies at ISU in Pocatello. While going to school she worked for the Bannock Youth Foundation. She received an offer to return to the Boston area to become a nanny again. She then returned to Pocatello in 2003. Kelly contined her studies at ISU and also worked as a CNA. Kelly married the love of her life and best friend Erik M. Stanger on June 14, 2008 in Arimo, Idaho. Kelly and Erik became parents to a precious baby boy, Lukas Donald Stanger on July 20, 2010. Kelly was a wonderful mother and loved Luke with all of her heart. He was the center of Kelly and Erik's world. She was a member of the Inkom Community Bible Church and enjoyed attending every Sunday and also the Bible Study on Mondays. Kelly enjoyed camping, fishing, cooking (especially her famous cheesecake) and reading. She also loved basking in her collections of shoes and purses. Her very favorite color was pink of course! Most of all, she enjoyed being a mother and wife. Kelly had an infectious laugh and smile that could light up a room. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her husband Erik and son Lukas both of Inkom, ID; her parents Donald and Kim Kuhn of Soda Springs, ID; and three sisters Jennifer and Paul Marley of Pocatello, ID; Megan and Clayton Short of Pocatello, ID; Ashley and Clinton Bragg of Soda Springs, ID. Kelly is also survived by two nieces, Abbigail and Bailey and two nephews Noah and C.J. Kelly is also survived by her mother and father in law, Steve and Bitsy Stanger of Arimo, ID; and her brother in law, Rusty Stanger of Pocatello, ID. They welcomed her into their family with so much warmth and love. She loved being a part of their family. She is also survived by Uncles, Aunts and more than a few cousins. Kelly was preceded in death by her grandparents, Egon and LaVeda Kuhn and Bill and Elaine Gentry. Services will be held on Monday, March 19, 2012 at Noon at the Inkom Community Bible Church (251 Grant). The family will visit with friends on Sunday evening from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Sims Funeral Home in Soda Springs and on Monday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the church prior to services.
