LaDean Roholt Comish, 86; of Grace passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2009 at the Caribou Memorial Living Center in Soda Springs.
LaDean was born November 11, 1922 in Preston, Idaho the daughter of Otto and Gladys McClurg Roholt.
She was raised in Preston, Idaho and graduated from Preston High School in 1939. She lived in Sunset, Utah for 30 years and Sanders, Arizona for 15 years and has lived in Grace for the past 19 years.
She graduated from the LDS Nursing School in 1944. She was a school nurse in Sanders, Arizona for 8 years.
LaDean married Jack E. Garner in October of 1946 in Elko, Nevada. They were later divorced.
She married Bennie Comish in April of 1990 in Elko, Nevada.
LaDean was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served as a Teacher in Relief Society, Teacher in Primary, Den Mother, Camp Director for Young Womens and Primary Counselor.
She was a member of the Registered Nurses Association and Pres. of Private Duty Nurses Association.
She is survived by her husband one son Dan Garner of Sanders, AZ; and six stepchildren; RaNae and Sam Caldwell of Honeyville, UT; Sharon and Van Fowler of Brigham, UT; Rick and Fran Comish of Soda Springs, ID; LouAnn and Michael Gibson, of Grace, ID; Kathy Tillotson of Grace, ID; and Leslie and Jay Simons of Kemmerer, WY. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren and 17 step-grandchildren and 26 step-great-grandchildren a sister Shirley Bloggert of Ogden, UT. She was preceded in death by a daughter Sharon Garner and a grandson Justin Schroder.
Services were held on Monday, July 20, 2009 at Noon at the Grace LDS Stake Center. Interment was at the Grace Cemetery.
Family suggests donations be made to the Pink Ladies Auxiliary.
