Obituary

Larry Wayne Bower, 68, of Soda Springs, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2009 at home.

He was born November 25, 1940 at Chesterfield, Idaho the son of Wayne Adam and Vera Lucille Russell Bower.

He was raised and educated in Bancroft and Chesterfield areas, graduating from North Gem High School and also attended Mechanical Tech. School at ISU.
Larry married Lorine Cellan, November 14, 1966 at Elko, Nevada.
He served in the U S Army during the Vietnam War.

He was a rancher and farmer and had worked at A Nelson Hogan Ranch, Holbrook Ranch, K V Hansen Ranch, Arimo Ranch and for Torgeson Ranch for 26 years.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. His hobbies included leather work, fishing,, cowboying, spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Larry is survived by his wife Lorine of Soda Springs, 3 sons and 1 daughter and their spouses; Clint and Wendy Lewis, Roy, Utah; Hans and Angie Bower, Grace, Idaho; Dalton and Carrie Bower, Soda Springs, Idaho and Kristi and Buck Copeland, Aberdeen, Idaho. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, a brother, George William Bower, Palmer, Alaska and a sister, Peg Lucille Baker, Pocatello, Id. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters Clara Anna Hardman and Shirley Bower, (infant).

Funeral services were conducted on Friday, April 24, at Noon at the Soda Springs LDS 1st Ward Chapel with Bishop Greg Torgesen officiating.
Burial was in the Chesterfield Cemetery with military graveside services.
