Leo Carl Dursteler, 85, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015 in Pocatello, ID. Leo was born September 5, 1929 to Henrich "Henry" Roudolph and Clemma Drucilla Long Dursteler in Whitney, ID. He was raised and educated in Cub River. He married Shirley Ruth Seamons July 27, 1953 and she was the love of his life. They moved to Soda Springs in 1964. Later had three girls, Dana (Lynn) Moore, Jody (Jerry) Dietz, Lori (Scott) Forsgren. Leo loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He always enjoyed being on the farm and wanted to be a farmer. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He is survived by his girls, fourteen grandchildren, and two sisters, Jean Massey of ND, and Zoey Murray of Pocatello, ID. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley, his parents, eight brothers and one sister. Special thanks to Randi Adams (Babysitter) and Zina Estes. Services will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015 at Noon at the Soda Springs Hooper LDS Chapel. The family will visit with friends on Thursday 6-7 p.m. at the Sims Funeral Home and on Friday 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Church prior to services. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery.
