Beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend Leon E. Anderson passed away peacefully at his home in Lago on March 28, 2016 surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born August 12, 1941 to his parents Leland and Thressa Anderson, in Ioka, Utah.

He moved to Kemmerer, Wyoming and married Bonnie Jean in 1965 until her passing in 1991.

Leon worked in construction and super intendant of South Lincoln County Cemetery district where he mentored many.

In 1993 he married Charleena Rae Anderson and moved to Highland, Utah in 1996 where he cared for his father. In 2006 he moved and retired to Lago, Idaho with his wife and two grandchildren. He became a loyal friend to many and enjoyed working hard on the Double B Happy Ranch. He spent endless days running the backhoe and riding horses through the beautiful Ant Canyon Mountains.

Leon is survived by his caring and loving wife Charleena Rae Anderson, a brother Ken and Joyce Anderson and sisters Rea and Bob Taylor, Joan and Johnny Johnatakis, Betty and Gary Pederson, Kathy Anderson, children and grandchildren, Kevin, Amy, Matt and Sydney Anderson, Lonnie, Anne, Hawthorn and Cheyenne Anderson, April, Eric, Angela, Jorden, Cameron Anderson, Marshell Stanley and multiple nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by Bonnie Jean and Leland and Thressa Anderson.

There will be A Celebration of Life on June 18, 2016 at Noon at his home the Double B Happy Ranch.
