Obituary

Lewis Dell Webb, 94, former resident of Soda Springs, Idaho died on January 11, 2015 at the home of his daughter in West Valley City, Utah. He was born in Richmond, Utah to Joseph Laurence Webb and Eva Bodella Lewis. He married Bonnie Robinson in May 1940, later divorced 1966. He married Colleen Bullen in September 1973. They resided in Soda Springs until 2012. Lewis served in the US Army during World War II in the southern Philippines and Luzon. He was wounded during his service and received the Purple Heart. He lived in Preston, Idaho following his military service until 1967 where he was employed with Bosen Distributing Company for 22 years. He moved to Soda Springs, Idaho in 1967 where he operated the Conoco Bulk Plant. He later worked for the DRAVO Mining Company until he retired at age 70. He was an active member of the LDS Church. He and his wife Colleen were avid Utah Jazz fans. They both loved the music from the 30's and 40's. He loved life in Soda Springs and the many friends and neighbors that he had. He is survived by his wife, Colleen, daughter, Jeannie (Gerald Buttars) and his son Craig, both of Salt Lake City. He has five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren and 15 step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Sterrell, Grant, Ross and Arlow and step son, Larry Flippence. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 17, 2015, at the Soda Springs 4th Ward, at noon. A viewing will be held one hour before at the church (281 East Hooper Ave.). Interment will be at the Richmond, Utah Cemetery at approximately 3 pm. Listen to service
