Lila Jean Armstrong Peterson, 83, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2017.

Lila was born on December 31, 1933 in Brigham City, Utah the daughter of Orsen Eugene and Lila Neola Worwood Armstrong.

She lived in Brigham City her entire life except a short time right after she was married.

Lila married Kenneth W. Peterson on August 2, 1968 in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple. They were later divorced.

She worked as a secretary at Thiokol Corporation. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served as a primary teacher for many years. She enjoyed spending time with family and also working on her rose garden.

She is survived by a brother Ronald Donnell Armstrong and many Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, two sisters, three nieces and one nephew 4 great-nieces and one great nephew.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 3 p.m. at the Brigham City Cemetery.
