Linda Orr Nelson Garner passed away on January 10, 2023 in Soda Springs, Idaho.

She was born September 26, 1940 in Georgetown, Idaho to Arlow and Melba Mae Orr.

She married Lyman Leo Nelson on November 3, 1959 at Preston, Idaho.  They were later divorced but to this union four children were born.  She married again but was divorced and later sealed to Lyman Leo Nelson in the Logan, Utah Temple.

She attended school in Georgetown, Soda Springs and graduated from Montpelier High School.  When she was 55, she went back to college and got her certificate in bookkeeping.   She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served willingly in all her callings.  She enjoyed being around her family and really enjoyed the great-grandchildren.

Linda is survived by four children, Ricky (Joy) Nelson of Soda Springs, Sheri Lynn Minig of Pocatello, Lyman Scott Nelson of Soda Springs and Shane Philip Nelson of Soda Springs.  She is also survived by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents and various aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at the Soda Springs 7 ^th Ward chapel, 361 S 3 ^rd E, Soda Springs, Idaho on January 17, 2023 at 11:00 am.  The family will meet with friends from 9:30-10:30 just prior to services at the church.  Burial will be at the Mink Creek Cemetery in Preston, Idaho.
