Linda Ethel Cagle Leissring, 70 of Bancroft, Idaho returned to her Heavenly Father Sept 23, 2017 at Caribou Memorial Living Center in Soda Springs, Idaho. Linda was born July 16, 1947 in the family car on the way to the hospital in Malad, Idaho to Forrest Winthrop Cagle and Ila Rae Kent Cagle. She is the middle child of 3 and grew up in Downey, Idaho. She graduated from Marsh Valley High School in 1965. Linda married Jr. Orval Clem Leissring March 24, 1967 in Pocatello, Idaho. Together they raised 4 children. They also considered Tony and Mary as their own as they lived with them for a period of their childhood. Due to Orvals job at Union Pacific Railroad, the family lived in Downey, American Falls, Chubbuck, Dubois, and in 1985 they finally settled in Bancroft, Idaho. As a child, she loved horseback riding. Linda also enjoyed hunting, camping, crocheting, and especially being with her family, grandchildren and husband. You could always count on her to brag about her grandkids to anyone and also loved telling stories about her childhood. She worked at Lamb Weston in American Falls, was a bus driver in Dubois and worked at JR Inn in Soda Springs. Linda was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was preceded in death by her parents and Tabra Cruz . Linda is survived by her husband Orval, of Bancroft; sister, Cherolynn Day (Jene); Brother, Ron Cagle both of Downey; Children, Jeff (Melissa) Leissring of Soda Springs, Nadine (Mike) Kelsey of Grace, Jay (Joy Murphy) Leissring of Pocatello, and Robin (Todd Burgin) of Lava Hot Springs , Tony (Lora Gunter) Cruz of Bancroft, Mary Wright of Caldwell and 10 grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday, Sept. 28 at Noon at the Bancroft LDS Church. Family will visit with friends from 10-11:30 a.m. at the church prior to services. Burial will be in the Bancroft Cemetery. Listen to service
