IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Marcia Ann
Robison
November 21, 1935 – April 1, 2024
MARCIA ANN LAIRD
Grace, Idaho. Marcia Ann Robison 88 passed away on Monday, April 1st, 2024.
Marcia was born on November 21, 1935, in Eudora Kansas, daughter to Raymond and Blanche Laird. She was raised and educated in Topeka Kansas.
Marcia married Alfred Duane Robison on July 25, 1954, in Topeka Kansas where later they were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple. They made their home in Lecompton Kansas, Lawrence Kansas, Salt Lake City, Utah, Paradise Valley, and Mesa, Arizona, making Grace, Idaho their final home.
She was well known for her love of her family nothing meant more to her than that. Her faith in the gospel and holding a current temple recommend were very important to her. Duane and Marcia served faithfully and honorably as ordinance workers in the Arizona Mesa and Utah Logan temples for several years. Marcia was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where she served in many capacities, Relief Society, Young Women, Primary, and Ward music leader.
She had a beautiful soprano and alto voice and was honored to sing with the Arizona Mormon Choir. Marcia and her two-sisters thrived on working on their family history traveling together in gathering information and pictures. Marcia had an uncanny memory for places, dates, and experiences until she passed away. We enjoyed her wit and humor which always made others laugh and smile. No matter where Marcia lived, she made a beautiful home environment for her family. She enjoyed cooking and baking using her family's recipes which are now family history.
She is survived by her five children, Renae (Terry) Forsyth of South Jordan, Utah, Gaylene (Steve) Buchan of Hayden, Idaho, Michael (Tina) Robison of Grace, Idaho, Amy (Steve) Dorrough of Fort Madison, Iowa, and Scott (Kaye) Robison of Sherwood, Oregon. Marcia leaves behind a great legacy of 19 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews.
