Margene Burton (Coombs) Marcinkowski, 95 years of age, passed away of natural causes on September 6th, 2026 at her residence in Priest River, Idaho.
Margene was born May 9th, 1931 in Logan, Utah to Fred and Mildred Burton.
She graduated from Grace High School and shortly after married Clair Dee Coombs on June 17, 1949 and had three children. She was widowed at a young age with the sudden death of Dee in 1959.
Margene moved to Salt Lake City in 1960 and pursued a career in cosmetology. In 1963 she moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho to become Manager and Instructor of the Hollywood Beauty College and Salon where she worked for over 20 years and raised her son and two daughters.
On December 29, 1978 Margene married Casimer (Ski) Marcinkowski and moved to Moyie Springs, Idaho and later moved to Post Falls, Idaho where she lived until the passing of Ski in 2017. In 2021, Margene moved to Priest River where she lived with her daughter until her passing.
Margene is survived by her sister Janet Ann Fullmer, her daughter Donna Gene Baracker (Mike), her son Bryan Dee Coombs (Pam), and daughter Bernice Ann Dixon (Randy), seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her parents Fred and Mildred Burton, her sisters Artell Allsop, and Margaret Atwood, two infant sisters, husband Clair Dee Coombs, an infant granddaughter Genell Jones, and husband Casimer (Ski) Marcinkowski.
Margene will be laid to rest alongside family in Grace Cemetery in Grace, Idaho. Margene/Mother will be dearly missed.
