Marjorie Mae Ayers Seely age 78 passed away Saturday, October 31, 2009 at the Caribou Memorial Living Center in Soda Springs.
Marjorie was born in Soda Springs, ID, May 30, 1931. She was the first of three children born to William Dale Ayers and Christine Louise Ayers. Marjorie married Lynn Beus July 5, 1947 and later divorced in 1956. She married Marvin R. Jensen, they were married for 15 years and divorced. On November 11, 1971 she married Byron E. Seely and was married to him until his passing on January 2009.
She and Byron lived many years in Richland, WA, returning to Soda Springs in 1980. Marjorie was a member of the First Presbyterian Church confessing her faith and being baptized on April of 1942. She belonged to the Eastern Star Chapter 25 in Walla Walla, WA; the Moose Lodge in West Richland, WA. Marjorie was a member of the National Cosmetology Association; she was a cosmetologist for much of her adult life, owning her own business for most of it.
She dearly loved hunting and fishing, her pets and spent many hours in her yard and flowers.
She is survived by 3 sons, Jerry Beus of Soda Springs, Douglas Beus of Evanston Wyoming and Dallas & Jennifer Beus of Mountain Home, ID, her brothers and their wives, Dale and Verla Ayers and Don and Lynette Ayers of Soda Springs, eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, her daughter Marcia Beus Manda and her husband, Byron.
Services were held on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 2 p.m. at the Sims Funeral Home. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs.
