Michael Ray Peterson, 63; of Soda Springs passed away on Saturday morning September 26, 2020 with his loving wife Kelly by his side.

Mike met the love of his life, Kelly and they were married April 13, 1977 in Elko, Nevada.  They would go on great adventures to NASCAR races, motorcycle rides and concerts.  He also enjoyed going on long exciting snowmachine rides with his friends.

He loved the outdoors and working on cars, bikes and other stuff including Corvettes, snowmachines and motorcycles.  Need I say more.

Later in life he had to slow things down, but he still loved fishing.  Every time you'd visit him you could see prized Waleye he caught at Oneida, he had hanging on the wall.

Michael grew up in Lava Hot Springs and moved to Soda Springs where he made a lot of his lifelong friends.

Mike is survived by his wife Kelly of Soda Springs, ID, mother, Mona Jonston of Ruchland, WA, and brother Paul Hooper of Boise, ID, a sister Michelle Schaffer of Richland, WA.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gene Hooper.

Per Mikes wishes he was cremated and no services will be held at this time.
