Michael Phillip Sohn, 73; of Soda Springs passed away Thursday, May 17, 2012 at his home. Michael was born on September 7, 1938 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin the son of Herbert Herman and Anna Marie Sykerbyke Sohn. He married Edith Delores Farmer on June 21, 1957 in Arco, Idaho. She passed away on December 24, 2000. He attained his electrical engineering degree at Milwaukee School of Engineering He owned and operated the Lake View Motel in Soda Springs since the early 1970's. Michael enjoyed fly fishing, boating and golf. He is survived by one son, Michael and Maria Sohn of Seattle, WA; and three daughters, Michelle Seamons of Pocatello, ID; Lesa and Pat McGrane of Blackfoot, ID; Shaunna and Robert Rigby of Soda Springs, ID. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and a sister Sandra Tweedy. He was preceded in death by his wife, a brother Herb, a goddaughter Kim Young, and a great-grandson Sam Fay. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Noon at the Sims Funeral Home in Soda Springs. The family will visit with friends on Thursday morning from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at the Funeral Home prior to services. Listen to service:
