Our beloved Mother and Grandmother returned to her Father in Heaven on June 23rd 2010 at her home in Bench Idaho. She passed away peacefully, due to natural causes at the age of 96.

Mildred was born at Lago, Idaho on August 19, 1913 to John Edward Meacham and Julia Marie Haynes Meacham.

She married her sweetheart Ferron P. Burke on Dec. 21, 1934 in Idaho Falls Idaho. To this union two sons were born, Gary E. & Billy Ferron Burke. Her husband preceded her in death in 1982.

She lived a very active life. She was full of love and joy for everyone that came her way.
The kitchen was always available for friends and family to come and enjoy being together and having a good meal. She loved little children. Her love for them was shone immediately, they would always be waiting for her to play or have treats for them. Mildred was truly a loving wife, mother, grandmother. Her love for people was a true gift that she was blessed with.

She spent the last 29 winters in Logandale Nevada and has many dear friends from that area.

She was active in the L.D.S. Church. She taught Primary at a young age. She was Primary President, taught Sunday school and also was Coordinator and was a counselor in the Y.W. M.I.A. Mildred served in many of these callings several times.

Surviving are her children Gary Burke (Karen), Bill Burke (Eloise), six grandchildren, nine great grand children, four great, great grandchildren, also sisters Edsel P. Rosales and Earline S. Williams.

She was preceded in death by Julie Burke, granddaughter, Kyle Clayton Mecham a great grandson, Brothers Edward and Elvin Meacham, Sisters Vira Cox, Bea Benividas, Iris Bullock, and Lorraine Bullock.

Funeral services were held on Friday, July 2, 2010 at the Williams Ward L.D.S Chapel in Niter, Idaho at 12:00 p.m. Interment was in the Grace Cemetery.
