Norman Leon Boeger, 63, of Las Vegas Nevada passed away Sunday, November 16, 2008 in Las Vegas.
Norman was born September 25, 1945 in Auburn, California the son of George and Ailene Keene Boeger.
He lived in Medivista, CA until age 17 and other areas in California. At age 25 he met Jeanne Homer and they were married October 13, 1972 in Soda Springs, Idaho. Their family lived many places in the west and in 1984 made their home in Las Vegas.
Jeanne passed away August 24, 2008.
Norman worked as a diesel mechanic for most of his life.
He loved hunting, fishing, drag racing, camping and especially spending quality time with his family.
Norman is survived by five sons and two daughters, Norman L. Jr. and Laurie Boeger; Jerry Boeger; Mike Boeger ; all of California, Donald Boeger; Kyle and Anna Boeger of Las Vegas, NV; Cinda and Damian Peck of Soda Springs, ID; and Tanny Boeger of Las Vegas, NV.
Also surviving are 11 grandchildren and two brothers Robert and Larry Boeger of California. He was preceded in death by his wife Jeanne and a sister Mitzi Duncan.
Services were held on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 11 a.m. at the Soda Springs LDS Stake Center. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs.
