Patricia Arlene Petterborg Preece
Born June 21, 1931 in Preston Idaho to Guy Clifford and Cecelia Kelly Petterborg. She passed away February 01, 2012 at her daughter's home in Star Valley, Wyoming.

She married Frank Preece on July 05, 1952. To this union six children were born, Dean, Patricia, Kelly, Neal, Jean and Bryan. They were sealed in the Logan Temple March 15, 1967.

She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. In which she held may callings. At the time of her death she was serving in the Young Women's organization.

Pat was known for her service to many, anytime, and anything. If someone did for Pat, she repaid them with a loaf of warm homemade bread or chocolate chip cookies.

Pat loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She kept a beautiful yard and sewed numerous aprons, night gowns and pillowcases. She was a longtime supporter of the 4-H program.

Pat is survived and missed by Dean & LeAnn Preece of Soda Springs, Patricia & Jon Hall of Soda Springs, Gayla Preece -Lednisky & Larry of Elko NV, Neal Preece of Soda Springs, Jean & Kelly Mace of Star Valley, WY, Bryan & Holly Preece of Battle Mountain NV. 18 Grandchildren – Lisa & Scott Rowley, Erin & Susie Preece, Matt Preece, Kim & Justin Lish, Brandon & Lynette Munson, Blake & Heidi Munson, Brad Munson, Jennifer & Ted Slivinski, Shaun Hall, Lacey Hall and Dane Hall. Kandis Preece-Bockness, and Kyle & Shay Preece. Stacey & Tory Johnson, Sara & Austin Merritt and Logann Mace. Heath Preece and Heather Preece. 24 Great Grandchildren – Nisha, Krista, Kaden, Brennan, and Brady. Cassie, Whitney, Payton L., Dakota, Lily, Tayja, Ryan, Zachary and Alysa. JT and Addison. Payton B., Kamren, and Braylon. Kamden, Ty, Raegan, Rylynne, and Brinley. 2 Great great- grandchildren – Kysen and Neveah. And Best Friend Carol Allen, and two brothers Ray (Norma) Petterborg of Caldwell, ID; Tom (Judy) Petterborg of Preston, ID; and two sisters, Marilyn (John) Hull of Corvallis, Or; Carol (Jerry) Goedde of Bellview, WA.

Pat was proceeded in death by her Parents, Husband, Son Kelly, Granddaughter Summer Dawn Mace, Brothers Cliff, Don, Kel, and Russ. Sisters Jean and Connie.

Visitation will be Sunday evening at the Sims Funeral Home in Soda Springs from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Funeral Service will be Monday February 06, 2012 at Noon at the Hooper LDS Chapel with visitation prior to the funeral will be from 10:30-11:30 am. Burial will take place in the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs.
