Philip Lee Gibson, 23, of Grace, Idaho passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013 in Casper, Wyoming.
He was born August 20, 1989 in Soda Springs, Idaho the son of Gordon and Peggy Gibson.
Philip graduated from Grace High School in 2008. He was involved in 4H for 9 years and scouting. After graduation, he worked as a utility pole inspector for OSMOSE for a year and half before continuing his education in the lineman apprenticeship as Wasatch Electric, where he worked until the time of his death.
Philip was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He enjoyed fixing motors and vehicles, as well as spending time with family and friends. He is loved by all and will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his parents, Gordon and Peggy Gibson of Grace, ID, grandparents Emmil and Ilene Sherman of Preston, ID, Arlene Gibson of Grace, ID, brothers, Glen (Holly) Gibson of Grace, ID (their children, Gracey, Keifer, Evan, Jett), Wess Gibson of Pocatello, ID, Patrick Gibson of Pocatello, ID, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Lee Gibson, Seth and Carrol Hansen and an uncle Dallas Hansen.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Grace LDS Stake Center (404 South Main St.). Family will meet with friends on Friday evening from 7-8 p.m. at the Stake Center and also on Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Grace Cemetery.
The family appreciated all efforts in the search for Philip, and the love, support and prayers on their behalf throughout this ordeal.
