Porter James Booth, 2 months old of Chesterfield, Idaho passed away peacefully in his parents' arms on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Porter fought hard against a rare genetic disorder that affected his vascular system called Generalized Arterial Calcification of Infancy (GACI).

Porter was born on June 22, 2022 in Pocatello, Idaho to Steven and NatiLee (Simons) Booth.  During his short stay here on earth Porter was loved and adored by all who met him.  Porter enjoyed being held by his parents, read to, and listening to music. He loved getting everyone's attention and gave the best cuddles.  Porter made a huge impact in the lives of many.

Porter is deeply loved by his parents, Steven and NatiLee Booth of Chesterfield, Idaho; grandparents Kevin and Susan Booth of Pocatello, Idaho, and Grant and Tonya Simons of Chesterfield, Idaho.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 1, 2022 at the Chesterfield LDS Chapel, 1001 Stalker Road, Chesterfield, ID 83217. Family and friends may visit with Porter's family and pay their respects in Soda Springs, ID at Sims Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 31 from 6-8 pm.

Porter's family would like to thank the doctors and amazing nurses at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT for the wonderful care and compassion that Porter and his family were given during his 7 week stay in the Cardiac ICU.
