IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ralph Olin
Anderson
October 5, 1952 – November 30, 2018
Ralph Olin Anderson was born on October 5, 1952 in Logan, UT to Swend and Ina Anderson. He was the youngest of five children. He was raised in Mink Creek, ID, where he raised a lotta heck, and then moved to Whitney, ID, where he raised even more heck. He graduated from Preston High School in 1970. Shortly thereafter, he met the love of his life, Twila, while purchasing a bag of cinnamon bears at Mel's Drug (Ralph ate a lot of cinnamon bears that summer). Ralph and Twila had a whirlwind romance and were married November 30, 1973 in the Logan Temple. This marriage was blessed with five beautiful daughters, two dogs, and two cats – all girls. Ralph once had a dog named Zeke, who was a boy. Ralph and Zeke really bonded and spent a lot of time on their own. Ralph adored his eight grandchildren and loved spending time with them exploring Rocky Ole Acre.
Ralph was a great neighbor and a friend to many. Everyone was welcome to stop by, pick out a rocker, and share a cup of coffee or cocoa in his cozy man cave. Ralph was always willing to lend a hand, whether it was stacking hay with Jack, feeding Adriaan's African lions, or helping to put out a fire (which he may or may not have started – thank you to the Harris's for your assistance in putting it out). Ralph was always a good provider for his family, whether it was driving truck, working as a plant operator out at Agrium, or doing a million different things on local farms. If it was broke he could fix it, if it wasn't broke, he could improve it.
Ralph passed away on November 30, 2018 at Caribou Memorial Hospital from the effects of interstitial lung disease. Ralph is survived by his wife, Twila Anderson; children: Lezlie Anderson (James Beecher), Stacie Butikofer (JaRon Butikofer), Heidi Konopnicki, Andrea Binggeli (Mat Binggeli), and Katie Morris (Dave Morris); siblings: Albert Anderson, Melvin Anderson and Pauline Brown.
Funeral services will be held at the Williams-Thatcher Ward on Wednesday, December 5, at 12 p.m. Internment will take place at the Lago Cemetery.
