Obituary
Ralph Anthony Hamp, 84; of Boise formerly of Grace, Idaho passed away Saturday, October 31, 2009.
Ralph was born on September 8, 1925 in Grace, Idaho the son of Charles and Mary Lofthouse Hamp.
He attended school in Grace, Idaho and in his senior year he joined the Navy during WWII.
He lived in Grace, ID for 30 years, Twin Falls, ID for 2 years, Red Bluff, CA for 22 years and in Boise, ID for 6 years.
Ralph Married Zula Marie Goodnight on March 23, 1955 in Grace, Idaho.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Ralph was a member of the Lions Club, VFW, Grange Senior Centers, American Legion and was a Blue Bird Campfire Assistant Leader.
He enjoyed reading, walking and gardening.
He is survived by his wife Zula and three sons and four daughters, Jeffrey Lane Hamp of Helenwood, TN; Ralph Anthony Hamp Jr. of Auborn, CA; Ron Allen Hamp of New Dale, ID; Zula Mae Strayer of Colorado Springs, CO; Charlye Ann Hahn of Boise, ID; Mary Elizabeth Sherman of Boise, ID; Rosanne Hamp of Paynes Creek, CA; and 23 grand children and 36 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Iris Kay Pray and one great-granddaughter, Victoria and three brothers and four sisters.
Services were held on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Noon at the Grace LDS Stake Center in Grace, ID. Burial was in the Grace Cemetery.
