We regretfully announce the passing of Randall Allen Moyer, 67, of Grace Idaho. Randy passed away on February 26 in a fishing accident on the Bear River.

Randy was born to Robert and Patricia Moyer on April 28, 1956, in Rockford, Illinois. He has a sister, Rhonda (Larry) Stanley and a brother Mike (Karen) Moyer. He also has several nieces and one nephew.

Randy moved to Logan, Utah and attended Utah State University where he studied Biology. He then moved to Grace, Idaho in 1995 and began his ranching career. He enjoyed walking through the Aspen trees stirring up the Ruffed grouse with his dog in the mountains. He also loved tying his own flies and fly fishing. He had several dogs over the years and enjoyed their companionship.

He worked with the Mathews family in Niter, Idaho for nearly thirty years. He was a dedicated and loyal friend. He will be greatly missed by all. Randy is survived by his sister and brother and their families and is predeceased in death by his parents.

A celebration of life for Randy will be held in the Spring. The Mathews family would like to thank the emergency responders, the Caribou County Sheriff's department, and the many neighbors who responded and provided assistance.
