Please join our family in remembering Richard (Rick) Earl Philbrook Jr.  He passed away on May 30, 2021.

He was born in California on February 15, 1960.  He was the son of Richard and Barbara Philbrook whom preceded him in death.

He is survived by his wife, Renee, his sisters, Kim and Kelly, their children, Brandon, Eric.

His combined family consists of his 10 children, Michele, Chrissy, Nathan, Amanda, Kayla, Rikki, Tyler and stepchildren Jeanine, Chris and Amanda.  He was blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Those friends who had earned his trust, Lou Pratt, Rick Morrison, Deno, Scooter, Rob, Kenny and Darlene and Donnie Young, along with many others can attest to his loyalty and his brutal honesty.

He was well known for his quick sarcastic wit.  He lived his life hard and fast, never giving up and always fearless.  The stories /memories he made with his friends will be shared for years to come.

He worked hard in life earning a living as a logger, mechanic, carpenter and other tough trades.  Always giving his all to show his pride in hard work.

He spent as much time as possible in the mountains, hunting, hiking, camping and letting his dogs run free.

In March of 2017 he started a new beginning when he finally married his life-long friend, Renee.  They lived in Soda Springs, Idaho for four wonderful years.

He will be missed by those who loved him as well as those who didn't.  His life was full and his soul is free.

There will be a Celebration of his life at Alexander Reservoir on June 26, 2021 at  1 p.m.  Come join us as we pour him one last beer.
