Ricky Ray Watkins, born on February 15, 2010 in North Carolina, passed away the morning of October 2, 2020 due to complications from asthma.

An outgoing child who wore his heart on his sleeve, Ricky loved to help people and tried to be as useful as he could. He enjoyed going to the mountains with his Grandpa Philbrook and loved fishing with Grandma Renee. His favorite nights were movie night with his mom and little brother.

He will be greatly missed by his family and everyone that knew him.

Ricky is survived by his parents, Amanda Watkins and John Watkins, grandparents Rick and Renee Philbrook, and Rick and Terry Morrison, little brother Korbin Watkins, and half-brother Ben Watkins. Ricky is preceded in death by his cousin Mia Calder, who will look after him.

A memorial gathering will take place on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Noon at the Alexander Reservoir Park and boat ramp.
