Rita Darlyne Basel's Obituary
Rita Darlyne Coldren Basel, 82, of Soda Springs passed away on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the Caribou Memorial Hospital.
Rita was born on November 21, 1934 in Leavenworth, Kansas the daughter of Edgar and Ruby Bernice Hewitt Coldren.
She had lived in Roundup, Montana for 14 years and in Soda Springs for 31 years.
Rita married Howard Raymond Marquardt in Leavenworth, KS in 1953. They were later divorced.
She later married Charles Roland Basel on May 13, 1968 in Miami, Oklahoma. He passed away on April 15, 1988.
Rita enjoyed crafts, flower arranging and decorating. She was a wonderful house wife and mother.
She is survived by two daughters, Shannon Basel of Soda Springs, ID and Frances Parnell DeWitt of Leadore, ID and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles R. Basel, a brother Gerald Coldren and a granddaughter Bashina Julie Lunda.
Rita requested that she be cremated with no public services to be held at this time.
