Robert Egbert Burton, 86, of Grace, Idaho passed away Thursday, April 26, 2018 at the Caribou Memorial Living Center.

Robert was born on February 16, 1932 in Grace, Idaho the son of Robert Joseph and Mary Helen Egbert Burton.

He graduated from Grace High School and then he served in the U.S. Army from 1953-1955 then returned to the farm in Grace.

Robert married Kayleen Nielson on June 24, 1960 in Cleveland, Idaho. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on June 26, 1965.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and he always enjoyed home teaching.

Robert enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and riding horses. He also loved to farm and spend time with his family.

He is survived by his wife Kayleen Burton of Grace, ID, and three sons and two daughters, Van Burton of Paducah, KY, Gary Dee and Amy Burton of South Jordan, UT, Ned Robert and Dessa Burton of Pingree, ID, Linda and Jerry Adams of Chubbuck, ID, Tonya and Keith McNeel of Afton, WY. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, a brother James Burton and one sister Barbara Johnson. He was preceded in death by a grandson Skyler Lee Burton and a great-granddaughter Baby Mickelson.

Services will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Noon at the Grace LDS Stake Center. Family will visit with friends on Tuesday morning from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Church prior to services. Burial will be in the Grace Cemetery.
