Robert (Bob) Earl Gentry, 67 passed away on October 9, 2024. Bob was born on January 13, 1957, in Paradise, California to parents Leo Ross Gentry and Louise Genevieve (Burch) Gentry. He was raised and educated in California and Nevada and graduated from Mineral County High School in 1975.

Bob loved hunting, camping, and spending time restoring classic cars. In high school, he was a successful track athlete, and his love for athletics and sporting events carried on throughout his life.

He is survived by his 3 children Jennifer Ford of Gainesville, Florida, Robert Gentry of Tooele, Utah, and Meghan (Brandan) Quinney of West Point, Utah, and by 2 sisters Patricia (Robert) Bennett and Linda (Joe) Leguineche. He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren, Aiden, Brandon, Adeline, Kayliana and Carter. He is preceded in death by his parents.

The family has opted out of public funeral services and will be spreading his ashes in the mountains together. Bob loved spending time out in nature often referring to it as "his church"
