Robert LeGrande Rigby, 77, of Soda Springs, Idaho passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012 at the Caribou Memorial Living Center in Soda Springs. Robert was born on August 4, 1934 in Centerville, Utah the son of LeGrande Newell "Buss" and Florence Davis Rigby. He was a lifelong resident of Soda Springs and graduated from Soda Springs High School in 1953. Robert married Carol Lynn Smart on September 30, 1953 in the Logan LDS Temple. He worked for Intermountain Gas Company for 41 years. Robert was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He is survived by his wife Carol Lynn Rigby of Soda Springs, and two sons, Robert Lynn and Shaunna Rigby of Soda Springs, ID, and Brooks LeGrande and Heidi Rigby of Soda Springs, ID. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Saturday June 23, 2012 at Noon at the Soda Springs LDS Stake Center (290 South 3rd West). The family will visit with friends on Friday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Sims Funeral Home and on Saturday morning from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Stake Center prior to services. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations may be made to the Caribou Memorial Auxiliary or the Caribou Memorial Foundation.
