Rondo Edward Crossley, 77, of Bancroft passed away on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at his home. Rondo was born on March 29, 1939 in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho the son of Edward and Kathleen Hobson Crossley. He married Argilene Davids on July 11, 1959. Rondo has lived in Bancroft his entire life. He worked for Monsanto and laid carpet for Sanders Furniture. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He also has served on the Bancroft School Board and the Oregon Trail Country Club Board. Rondo enjoyed golfing, fishing, reading, hunting, dutch oven cooking and watching children and grandchildren play sports. He also loved his dogs. He is survived by his wife Argilene Crossley, and four sons and two daughters, Rondo Lee and Melissa Crossley of Preston, ID, Kelley and Terrie Crossley of Bancroft, ID, Kym Crossley of Bancroft, ID, Shaun and Brenda Crossley of Morgan, UT, Marci and Nolan Henry of Bancroft, ID, Misti Crossley and Tim Ochsenbein of Grace, ID. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother Daniel Jay Crossley. Services will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Bancroft LDS Chapel. Family will visit with friends on Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Sims Funeral Home and on Tuesday morning from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Church prior to services. Burial will be in the Bancroft Cemetery. listen to service
