Rosamond Elizabeth Stewart Burnham, 86; of Soda Springs passed away Thursday, September 24, 2009 at the Caribou Memorial Hospital in Soda Springs.

Rhody was born September 14, 1923 the daughter of Leonard Horace and Ella Marion Tirrell Stewart in Brockton Massachusetts.

She married Laurence Ray Burnham January 17, 1942 in Keene, New Hampshire and their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple, Logan, Utah.

She lived in Jaffrey, NH for 18 years, Grace, Idaho for 4 years and in Soda Springs, ID for 43 years.

Rhody was a L.P.N. and workded for the Caribou Memorial Hospital and Nursing home for 22 years. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She enjoyed reading, handiwork and loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by two sons Dick and Judy Burnham of Soda Springs, ID; Laurence Burnham Jr. and four grandchildren; Anjie and Brad Cooper, of Soda Springs, ID; Brandon and Andrea Burnham of Portland, Oregon; Justin and Kady Burnham of Pocatello, ID; Nicholas and Terra Burnham of Wood Haven MI; and 9 great-grandchildren and numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews and a sister, Glennis Baldwin of Ft. Walton Beach, Florida. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Services were held on Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at Noon at the Soda Springs LDS Stake Center. Burial was in the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs.

Rhody was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
