Ruth Ingred Miles Bennett, 93, passed away in Soda Springs, Idaho on September 23, 2017.
Ruth was born on September 1, 1924 in Niter, Idaho to Joseph Daniel Miles and Elsie Ann Johnson. Ruth attended Grace High School and had always said she lost interest in school because she had met the love of her life. She married Allan Verlo Bennett on September 20, 1940. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan Utah Temple.
Ruth was a lifelong resident of Caribou County and lived in Niter for 35 years and engaged in farming. Allan and Ruth sold their farm and moved to Grace in 1975 where she lived for 34 years before residing in Soda Springs for the remaining years of her life. Ruth and Allan had two children during their marriage, Maynard and Evelyn. Ruth and Allan were avid travelers and enjoyed spending time together while visiting the popular vacation sites of the United States.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, her son, her parents and one grandson. She is survived by her brother, Farrell Miles, her daughter, Evelyn Hunsaker, her daughter-in-law, Lori Bennett, 8 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Noon at the Grace LDS Stake Center. Family will visit with friends on Friday morning from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the Church prior to services. Burial will be in the Lago Cemetery.
