Sadie Lou Perham Spackman, 58, passed away on Monday, February 8, 2016, after the last of a series of related illnesses over the past 20 years.
Sadie was born December 5, 1957 in Gloversville, New York, the 4th of 5 children of John and Sarah Perham. Soon after her arrival the family moved to the small community of Archer, Idaho near Rexburg. After graduating High School in Rexburg she went to work at First Security Bank as a teller. While working there she met her future husband Bob Spackman and they were married January 21, 1977. Bob later left the bank and they moved to Pocatello, ID for a short time and then to Soda Springs, ID where Sadie again worked as a teller at Security State Bank.
She later quit to have the first of three children, Jesse Kaye Spackman in September of 1980. She then became pregnant with daughter Carrie, who sadly died just before child birth, last to arrive was daughter Katie in May of 1989.
Growing up in Archer Sadie had a love for animals (excluding mice and snakes) and was always bringing home stays to take care of, but her favorites were her horses. She dreamed of marrying a rich cowboy and living on a large horse ranch, unfortunately Bob never brought that dream to fruition but she took it in stride and settled for loving her dogs and cats.
She also loved to do all kinds of sewing with quilts being her favorite and knitting dish clothes second.
