Samuel (Sam) Lee Holder passed away April 2, 2023.

He was born March 14, 1960 to Bill and Judy Holder in Delta Colorado.  He was the youngest of four children.  His siblings include Tom Holder, Jody Holder and Peggy Steele.

Sam lived in the Boise Idaho area.  His family later moved to Idaho Falls where he attended and graduated Bonneville High School.

Sam always had a love for the country an animals, especially those that need extra tender love and care.

He married Wendy Jo Wagoner on Nov 3, 1979 in Idaho Falls.  They lived in the Shelly-Firth area for 27 years where they raised three children:  Billy Holder, Ody Holder and Lacey Holder Edwards.

They purchased a small farm in Georgetown, Idaho where they worked raising goats and sheep until his death.

Sam served for 30 years with Select Sires of Mid America and was highly respected in the cattle and sheep industry.
