Samuel Thomas Luthi, passed away unexpectedly on July 23 ^rd ,2021 while at his home.  Samuel is survived by his father Frank Rex Luthi, and his three brothers, Peter, Frank L, and Brian Luthi.  He has been called home to join his mother Cynthia Jean Dillman Luthi, and his grandparents Frank and Idella Luthi, and Laurie and Joyce Dillman.

Samuel "T for Tank" Thomas Luthi was born on February 11 ^th , 1983, in Preston, Idaho to Frank Rex Luthi, and Cynthia Jean Dillman Luthi.  He graduated from Highland Highschool in Pocatello, Idaho in 2002.  He was a devout member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and his father's home teaching companion.

Sam lived with his father his entire life moving from Grace, ID to Logan, UT to Soda Springs, ID to Pocatello ID, to Iowa City IA, to Murray, UT and finally ending back in Pocatello. He worked with specialty groups like New Day Products and Goodwill who assisted him with employment opportunities for those with autism.  His hobbies included playing Bejeweled and Spider Solitaire on the computer, and he was a connoisseur of pizza, bacon cheeseburgers, hot dogs, and hot wings.

A viewing will be held for Samuel at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints meeting house at 2300 Butte St, Pocatello, ID from 9:30 to 10:45 with the funeral services being held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2021.  The graveside service will be in Soda Springs, ID cemetery at 3pm where he will be buried next to his mother.
