Obituary

Sarah S Hebdon, 96, of Bancroft Idaho passed away Wednesday November 14, 2018. Services for this sweet lady will be Wednesday, November 21 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bancroft Ward Chapel. Family will visit with friends and extended family from 9:00 - !0:30 a.m.

Sarah was born March 19, 1922 in her grandmother Bones' bedroom in Kaysville, Utah. She was the third daughter of Ivan and Corilla Sessions' seven children.

She has now been reunited with her sweetheart Russell Alton Hebdon who she has dearly missed for the last 18 years. They were married April 15, 1942 in Paris Idaho and later that year sealed in the Logan Utah Temple.

Sarah was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She had a deep abiding love of the Savior. She loved serving others in her everyday life as well thru her church callings as Relief Society President, District Primary Music Director and President of the Young Ladies to name just a few. She and her husband Russell also served in the Logan Temple, the Logan Family History Center and served a mission in the Micronesia Guam Mission for 18 months.

Her most beloved calling in life was that of Home Maker and Mother. Sarah and Russell raised their family of four daughters and two sons on a farm in Chesterfield, Idaho. When the family was raised they moved to Smithfield, Utah. In 1994 they moved to Bancroft, Idaho where she lived until a fall made it necessary for her to no longer live alone. Sarah then chose to move to Williamsburg in Logan, Utah were she could be close to her oldest son Alton.

Sarah was proceed in death by her parents, husband, and daughter Kathryn Lowell, Kathryn's husband Mike, a grandson Michael Allen, two great grandchildren Kaitlyn Nicole Bare and Derrick Jenkins. All of her siblings except Effie Camden. She is survived by her children Ellen and Robert Jenkins of Bancroft Idaho, Alton and Jackie Hebdon of Smithfield Utah, JoAnn and Ron Allen of Hyrum Utah, Steven and Linda Hebdon of Arimo Idaho, Carol and Crary Davis of Idaho Falls Idaho, 26 Grandchildren, 101 Great Grandchildren and 35 Great Great Grandchildren.

The family is very appreciative of the care provided for their Mother by the Rocky Mountain Home Care and Hospice, the Williamsburg Staff, and the Logan Regional Hospital.
