Sharon Lee Moore Roberts Smith passed away Monday, September 12, 2016 at her home in Soda Springs at the age of 73.
She was born to Warren and Beulah Moore on April 13, 1943. At the age of five the family moved to a farm in the Eight Mile area in Soda Springs. The winters were bad there and during high school she spent much of her time staying in town with Grandma Mikesell, to be able to get to school activities.
She graduated from Soda Springs High School in 1961. In October 1961 she married Larry Roberts. Together they had three children, DeAnn Bennett of Soda Springs, Idaho, Loney Roberts of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Marie Anderson of Grants Pass, Oregon. She and Larry were later divorced and she married Charles F. Smith in 1977. They moved to Grace and was owners and operators of Caribou Appliance for 20 years. They were sealed in the Logan LDS Temple November 2005. Charles passed away in May 2008.
She enjoyed snowmobiling, 4 wheeling, camping, fishing, hunting, making quilts and crafts and most of all she loved spending time with her family. She had many different callings in the church. She enjoyed playing pinochle, going to Red Hats, bowling and being a Pink Lady at the Caribou Memorial Hospital.
She is survived by her three children, eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and one on the way in October. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, step-mom Pat Moore and her husband.
As she wished there will be no funeral, a viewing will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 from 10:30a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the Sims Funeral Home prior to a graveside service at 1 p.m. at the Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs.
In Lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Caribou Memorial Hospital Pink Ladies Auxiliary.
