Sterling Delbridge, 64, of McCammon, Idaho passed away October 18, 2012 in the VA Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah with his family and friends by his side. Sterling was raised in Bancroft, Idaho and also had spent 25 years in Idaho Falls, Idaho and 14 years in McCammon, Idaho. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict and also spent time in Germany. He married Rebecca "Becky" Jo Bird on June 18, 1969 in Elko, Nevada. Sterling in a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping with family, horseback riding, playing pinochle, dutch oven cooking and spending time with his grandkids. Sterling is survived by his wife Becky, his son Sterling Lyle (Tanya) Delbridge and their children Hunter, Kaitlyn and Ashlyn. His daughter Brandy Jo (Jody) Dunn and their children Cassie Freestone and Tristen Dunn. Also surviving are his brothers Stanley (Carol) Delbridge, Wolfe (Darlene) Delbridge, and sisters Janice Wurzel, Diane (Chris) Mabey & Bertha Jean (Keith) Mabey. Services will be held on Friday, October 26, 2012 at Noon at the Bancroft LDS Ward Chapel. The family will visit with friends on Thursday evening from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Bancroft LDS Church and also on Friday morning from 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Burial will be in the Chesterfield Cemetery with military services. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the Salt Lake VA Hospital or the SLC Utah Fisher House in Sterlings Name. Listen to service:
